Through an integrative approach of evidenced-based treatments, individual counseling can help you develop healthy coping strategies and set goals aligned with your values. Whether you are facing a specific issue or seeking overall self-improvement, individual counseling provides tailored insights and skills to help you navigate your journey toward improved well-being.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)

CBT-I is a highly effective, short-term evidence-based intervention designed to help you overcome sleep difficulties and achieve restorative sleep. Research shows CBT-I is more effective than medication for treating insomnia in the long-term. CBT-I aims to help you develop sustainable sleep habits, manage insomnia effectively long-term, and improve your overall quality of life. A CBT-I episode of care is approximately 6 sessions, varying based on the individual.

Motivational Interviewing (MI)

Motivational Interviewing is a client-centered therapeutic approach designed to help you address ambivalence and make health behavior changes aligned with your values. This collaborative method empowers you to enhance your motivation and commitment to change and build a path toward achieving your personal goals. Examples of health behavior changes include, but are not limited to, tobacco/nicotine cessation and lifestyle adjustments.
